You can mix up the toppings/fillings for this one, there are no rules! ✨ How do you like your puto pao? PUTO PAO Ingredients: 1 ¼ cups rice flour ¾ cup sugar ½ tbsp. baking powder 1 cup milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract Pao Filling: ¼ kg ground pork 1 pc small onion, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp. five-spice powder 1 tbsp. brown sugar ½ tsp salt Procedure: 1. Make the filling by sauteing onions and garlic in a pan with hot oil. 2. Add ground pork and cook until it changes color. Season with soy sauce, five-spice, sugar, and salt. Cook until the sauce has thickened. Set aside and cool completely. 3. Make the batter by gently mixing all the ingredients together. 4.
