@orcas.tune.44: THANK YOU JAPAN!!!! Seriously i don’t know why i never thought if this before i saw the article. It blew my mind and i think it’s genius. Fill aquariums with projections and digital art instead of confining large marine species to lives in tanks!!! SeaWorld could implement this instead of using real orcas, dolphins, and seals. Especially with where AI and digital technology is today—the possibilities could be incredible. This could be the road to end captivity. Marine parks, zoos, aquariums….anywhere animals are suffering, they could be replaced with a realistic representation and still give people the educational factor these facilities claim is so important with their real animals. And even better, animals that people never get the privilege to see, like larger whale species, could be projected up close, teaching everyone love and appreciation for all animals from a younger age. I'm not against projections, but what comes to mind is Alan Watts speech of Overthinking. "People would rather see it ina. new paper or a photo, than reality itself, by this we are destroying nature."
