@hale.on.a.trail: Christmas vacation road trip to Temple of The Sun!🎄☀️ Temple of the Sun is an iconic solitary monolith summit that sits at 5,822-foot elevation located in Capitol Reef National Park! The temple sits over 400 feet tall above it's surrounding terrain. Catching sunrise here should definitely make your Utah bucket list! It's in a remote part of the park and requires 4x4 drive to reach. We spent the night in our roof top tent just outside of park boundaries about a mile away and had it all to ourselves this morning!
