@askvinh: Storytelling is one of the fastest ways to build deep connection with other people. Period. Have a think about your work colleagues or people around you. Who do you feel least connected to? It's most likely because you haven't heard many stories about who they are as a person. Most people just share surface level information like "What do you do?" or "Where are you from" but never go any deeper. When you share stories, you take up more space in people's brains, which ultimately makes you more memorable, more influential and increases rapport between you and others. @jinnyboytv
I noticed that too & I use to try to NOT act different when the boss entered but then I found a lot of them also notice & feel disrespected that I didn't button up & act intimidated by their power.
