@cbcnews: In a year-end interview with CBC News chief political correspondent Rosemary Barton, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has done a “really effective job” reflecting people’s concerns about affordability. Poilievre and the Conservatives head into 2024 on a high after months of largely rising support in the polls that has Trudeau and the Liberals trailing. The federal government has been struggling to keep up with the Conservatives’ messaging around the cost of living and Canada’s housing crisis. Momentum seemed to turn after Trudeau said that housing “isn’t a primary federal responsibility” at an announcement over the summer, adding that it fell mostly under provincial jurisdiction. #justintrudeau #inflation #canada
i don’t like trudeau but he is right on this. all pierre knows how to do is put the blame on trudeau instead of telling how he will fix it

I'm not Trudeau's big fan but inflation is all over the world. According to the majority of news, Canada is doing well compared to other countries.

💯💯 correct m! Pierre Polivere is just talking like his government did for 12 years they had before Trudeau where they never came through with any of their promises.

I’m not a fan of Trudeau nor PP. I’m just a Canadian tired of not being able to afford anything and the gov has done nothing about it.

This is a good answer. As always, in politics, it’s much easier to tell about what’s wrong rather than coming up with policy for change.
