I can believe it. A male gp wouldn't listen to my mum, sent her for tests based on his thoughts. She passed away as her tumour was missed.

GP: your sever pelvic pain is down to your weight. Me: no it’s not something is wrong bc it only happens during ovulation. Gp: it’s your weight. Me 3 wks later gett surgery bc ovarian torsion 🤦🏻♀️

Took me 7 years to get my fibro diagnosis… took 1 for my friend who’s a bloke 🤪 I was told it was all in my head. He got pain meds prescribed almost instantly.
