@thelocalinnterior: On this episode of: Is it a studio or is it a home? 🏠🛋 For this newly-wed couple, keeping things simple and non-fixated was of the utmost importance. Like many homeowners now, they preferred to keep things mobile for easy moving and/or replacement for future plans, be it changing up the layout of the home or expanding the family! When given the unit, the unique floorplan included a bedroom right next to the door, which would be where the white cabinet storage area is right now and the separation can be seen by the beams on the ceiling. By hacking away the walls, this created an exceptionally large living room, allowing these social homeowners to host guests. The kitchen is designed with the Industrial and Minimalist style, overlapping the Modern Minimalist aesthetic gracing the living area. This creates a sense of harmony, despite the spaces being different colors. The open concept resembles that of a café or co-working space as well, allowing these homeowners to feel comfortable whenever they work-from-home. By doing without much carpentry and fixtures (for example, there are no overhead cabinets in the kitchen, no TV console, no niches), everything is kept clean and simple. What's exceptionally special about this home is that a door (that has been done with the 'concealing' method) has been installed to separate the open-style master bathroom and the bedroom. What would have been the walls of the corridor have been turned into a walk-in wardrobe - and for the husband who travels alot for work, the wardrobes are accessible from both outside the bedroom and inside! Ensuring that reaching for his clothes wouldn't bother his wife 🫶🏼 #hometour #homestudio #minimalist #industrial #homereno #homeinspo #roominspo #renosg #thelocalinnterior
