3SX has big bore lifters for the 3000gt if the lifter tick is driving you crazy. They make a huge difference!

The timing belt service isn't this horrible as people say, and third gen lifters are cheap. that gets rid of most of your issues if you buy non turbo

for ecu problems get a 3rd gen ECU because theyre flash tuneable and wire it in. My engine is a 92 and my ecu is 98 both are na dohc

If you have a bad ecu on the first gen, try to get a jester chrome. But once, cry once. You can scan it as a 99 after that, and use modern obd scanners.

So i know tiburon and mitsu v6 are almost the same due to 🤝 of h&m bck then. So pick oem oil filter to fix the lifter tick

The non-turbo + manual transmission is actually a pretty reliable combo, it’s common to find them with over 200k miles 💪
