@gentlegiantsdraftrescue: Yesterday our team set out on a mission to save as many draft horses as possible, keeping them off the slaughter trucks and ensuring they would live to see the new year. We left at 3am with 7 trucks and trailers and fought all day against the meat men, who were relentless as they bid against us. We just pushed back harder and won freedom and safety for thirty two horses!! None of this would be possible without the encouragement and generosity of so many and we are so grateful! This is the start of a new life for thirty two incredibly deserving souls!
