Let your yeast bloom longer, kneed it longer and use a t towel to cover. I turn my oven on then turn it off and set the bowl on my stove top to rise.

The yeast didn't look like it bloomed enough. Also if your kitchen in cool it won't rise. My house has to be a sauna lol.

The yeast needed time to eat the sugar… But you added salt, right away and salt, stops yeast from eating sugar.😬

The cheese cloth might be letting warmth out since it has so many holes, try a regular cloth or dish towel 🥰

My kitchen is always too cold for it to rise so I turn on the oven for a min or two then turn it off and stick the bread in there to rise and it helps a lot!

Hey! I believe most recipes call for 2 1/4 tsp yeast. Try a bit more next time as well as waiting on the salt. Goodluck!! 🥰
