It’s my 1st NYE without my twin sister. She died suddenly in July. this festive period has been so hard. I feel the same. I’m leaving her in 2023 😢

I get it. 2024 marks 25 years since mum and 23 years since dad. I was 11 and 13 when it happened. now people barely blink when I tell them.

I know what you mean about leaving people behind in the year. My dad died in 2021 and mum in 2023. I haven’t grieved properly yet.

2023 wasn’t great but 2024 is when my daughter goes away to uni 😢& I know it’s stupid but if I keep my Christmas tree up it’s like 2024 won’t start!! happy NY to you 🥰
