@onemoreproject: Day 2 of transforming this room into Oliver’s dream home office!! Making this built in bookshelf design come to life took a little bit of trial and error. Sometimes with home DIY you plan things out, take all of the measurements, and it doesn’t work out once you get it built. We thought building bases for the @IKEA Billy bookcases hack going to be a necessity, and we spent an entire day working on them!! Turns out, they made everything worse and were totally unnecessary with our ceiling height once we saw it all put together. That’s when we decided to adapt and let the design show us how it’s supposed to work in our space. Next up on this project: ➡️ install trim on the built in ➡️ reinstall crown molding and baseboards ➡️ pick a paint color!!
