@guns.scuba.nursing: Eko Core 500 is probably the coolest stethoscope I've ever owned. You can increase and decrease the volume as needed for your preference. The usual area where the bell is located on a traditional stethoscope has a screen where you can see your rhythm and heart rate and also has the buttons to isolate breath and heart sounds. The Eko App let's you look at a better EKG strip and record the EKG, the breath sounds, and heart sounds that you hear. Also analyzes the rhythm for you and can detect heart murmurs. In terms of quality of what I hear, I find it more clear than my regular Littman. I probably won't use half the features in the hospital setting since I'm mostly in the ICU and the equipment there are more precise, but I'll use it in a future medical mission trip or at home.
