I’m a midwife and wanted to say that you have such a comprehensive understanding of what happened and the reasons why clinical decisions were made. Keep debriefing, talk to a birth trauma counsellor.

Please be kind to yourself and speak to someone if you aren't already. This kind of trauma stays with you forever. I still grt ptsd flashbacks

I had a cord prolapse, within 19 mins of arriving in hospital my daughter arrived. Went from 2 midwives to 15 staff in there, scariest time of my life

I also had a traumatic birth with mine coming 2 months early. Best thing I ever did was get a mental health care plan and saw a psychologist specialising in birth trauma. Sending love mumma xx

This happened with my last baby, they had to do emergency c section and get him out fast! Surgeon even cut his head :(
