A&E nurse- Butterfly stitches r best to use so there’s an escape for any infection. But you do need antibiotics x

I know where you are coming from (25 years frontline NHS) BUT, I really would go and be seen. If it's gaping open, over the bone, you are really gonna struggle to keep it closed. Think about scarring

Jodie my dog bit me really bad two years ago and mine went infected because I didn’t get antibiotics. Please get antibiotics at least.
