you can use your pond too! I use it to get trash to convert to crystals as well

the water fountain by the community center or the water next to the spa is also a good trash spot !

I get too many fish on the farm so if lvl 100 is unlocked it's great since the lava eel biterate is so low!

on your house, little pond were is no fish. i only have 10 trash found and and only 5 trash in the dump and last day to complete. at the end of the day(3 hours game-1 pm-4pm) i found all the trash and complete the quest. it take me 4 days fishing in the river only 10 trash found lol (were leah love to paint lol ) but i did it. ☺️✨yeayyy
