I was there in 89 - 90, there was 9 cottages with about 45 - 50 boys in each cottage, I was in Dozier cottage. Didn’t have to worry about staff then, had to worry about other kids. Real Rough place

we were stationed there on USAREC from 1996-99. lived on the other side of the woods from this place and had the weirdest things happen sometimes at night and never knew why..

I worked out there in 2004/2005, I worked in the JJOCC facility which was high security(which is where the sheriffs dept is now) sheriffs dept is suppose to be temporary until their original building

I work at the animal shelter across the street from it and every time I go to walk a dog over by the church I always get a weird feeling. It’s so sad what happened to those boys.

There is an old abandoned 65,000 square foot conference center in an old golf course called Grenelefe, it was opened in 1979 and hosted lots of very famous conventions in central Florida
