@afeefnessouli: ISRAELI OFFICIALS ARE CONCERNED… Because South Africa has filed a genocide case in the International Court of Justice that will be reviewed in the coming days. Israeli officials are worried because the country is a signatory to the treaty against genocide which means it can’t disregard this situation. Not only could a ruling cause diplomatic and economic isolation by cementing a narrative that Israel is committing genocide, it could also lead to an injunction and halt Israel from continuing its assault — AKA a temporary ceasefire. South Africa will have to prove causation and Israel will need to rebut. Of course, enforcement could be difficult!
