@brandy_billy: They let me come home today to wait for the remaining labs and tests that take a couple weeks to come back. I haven’t improved any but I am not getting worse. So I will be doing my treatment from home for the next couple weeks while we wait to get more answers. Infectious disease Now thinks the meningitis was a false positive due to none of my other symptoms matching up. If my vision goes from doubled to blurry we will have to return to hospital immediately. The strong high dose of steroids they have me on makes me feel crazy and gives me a terrible headache. I am unable to walk or really take care of myself. I am weak and unsteady when I stand. Around 3 weeks if we still don’t have any answers on why there is so much swelling around the left eye preventing it from moving properly. I will then need to have a brain biopsy. Which would be absolutely devastating. Let’s continue to pray that it doesn’t come down to shaving my head for the biopsy! #goinghomefromthehospital #longroadahead #keeppraying
