In a bowl, mix a bit of milk with cornstarch, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and sugar. 2. Heat the remaining milk until warm. Slowly stir the warm milk into the prepared mixture. 3. Pour the entire mixture back into the pan and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil over medium heat until the custard thickens. Allow to cool. 4. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. 5. Roll out the puff pastry and roll it up again from the longer side to form a new roll. 6. Cut the roll into approximately 3 cm wide pieces.
