@quicksandflooring: Is this floor worth keeping?? Wherever possible, it is always a good idea to keep your hardwood timber floor and restore it 💪🏻 It might look unsavable but its amazing what sanding it back and applying some good quality coating like Berger-Seidle can do 👌🏻 This floor had some carpet over the top so we had to remove some nails and punch any down that were protruding above the timber. We then sanded with 50grit, went around with the edger, hand scraped the corners and puttied all the nail holes. Another sand with 80grit before buffing. Next we applied 3 coats of water based poly in a NordicWhite topped with CeramicStar UltraMatt 👍🏻 Beautiful! Done! Looks like a brand new floor 🙌🏻 #floorsanding #timberfloor #hardwoodflooring #hardwoodfloor #hardwoodfloors #floorrestoration #floorrefinishing #floorrefinisher #fyp #tradie #tradiesoftiktok #floorcoatings #bergerseidle #50grit #sandpaper #asmr #asmrsounds #asmrtiktoks #galaxyfloorsander #americansanders #floorvarnish #floorrenovation #floorrenovating

The after colour is perfect. Not too dull and white washed, still warm

Mine looked like it was pulled from the bottom of the Atlantic, but after some minor repairs and sanding, it looked new. Best improvement we’ve ever had done.

my wood floors are super old- i’d love to do this. But there’s scratches in the wood from the dogs of the previous owner. So I have to replace my floors😞

I did this but after we added the 1st coat of poly, realized there’s a bunch of scratches from the sander!! Now i think my only option is to resand 😩😩
