This is a no-brainer, easy to follow recipe even for beginners in the kitchen but it’s still a knockout of a dish that packs a punch of flavor 🥊😋 1lb clams ½ cup unsalted butter 1 cup chicken stock or water 1 white onion, peeled and diced, about 1 shallot, peeled and minced 1 tablespoon tomato puree 4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1 tablespoon ginger, peeled and minced 1 teaspoon ground cloves 2 tablespoon chili powder 1 tablespoon ground coriander 1 tablespoon garam masala 1 tablespoon turmeric 1 ½ cups coconut milk 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped Steamed white rice, baguette or crispy rice crackers for serving Open the clams by placing them in a pan along with 1 cup of chicken stock or water, use a lid to cover and let it cook for about 4 to 5 minutes. The clams should open naturally, but discard any that stay closed. Reserve the leftover stock for another use. Melt the butter in a pan on medium high heat. Add the white onions, shallot, garlic, and ginger. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, until the onions are translucent. Then add the tomato puree, give it a good mix. Lower the heat to medium and add ground cloves, chili powder, coriander, garam masala, and turmeric to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the coconut milk, bring it to a simmer for a minute then add the clam shells. Toss the clams in the curry and transfer it to a shallow bowl. Garnish the clams with chopped parsley. Serve it hot with rice, sliced baguette, or crispy rice crackers. . . . #EasyRecipes #easy #EasyRecipe #easymeals #ideas #cooking #cookingtime #cookingathome #food #Foodie #clam #Recipe #recipeoftheday #recipeshare #recipeideas
