@saysdotcom: A series of photos capturing a groom walking down the aisle alone at his wedding reception in Kedah has gone viral on TikTok. According to OHBULAN!, the bride, Fatihah Zahra, uploaded the images and apologised to her husband for causing him to walk down the aisle and sit on the dais alone on their special day. During the reception, the groom was also seen video-calling his wife, who unfortunately was bedridden in the hospital. “Dear husband, I’m sorry you had to attend the wedding alone,” wrote the bride in the caption. Fatihah explained in the comments section that she was admitted to the hospital a few days before their wedding reception due to pneumonia. Her doctor advised her to stay at the hospital on the day of the ceremony because she still had to rely on an oxygen machine. The couple made the decision to go ahead with the reception as they already paid for the ceremony. Netizens sympathised with the newlyweds and left supportive comments.
