no store is gonna have $3000 in CASH to refund a customer... like literally. that $3000 was paid a different day, that money is LONG at the bank.

no store keeps large amounts of cash on hand. it's a safety thing. sometimes when there are large cash payments they immediately drop the cash in a bag and in a safe.
