@sancheztheraccoon: Here’s another dose of sleepy señor from the recovery cam. We have never laughed so much! It’s the little hand twitches for me 🤍 In general, Sanchez is a rather talkative raccoon, he is not afraid to use his voice in comparison to his sister Luna who rarely chitters. We had no idea about the noises he made while “no one was watching.” This sweet guy is healing up well, totally off pain meds, and is in torpor mode for the winter months. He is sleeping most of the day and into the night. Even with all of the huffs and grunts he will surely get more than enough sleep needed haha *Raccoons are den animals, they choose to sleep in tight places. He has an entire room and closet to sleep in but he chooses to sleep in the drawer because that is his den.
