@winnidesigns: LEARN from my mistakes. As I am learning more about proper woodworking methods I make mistakes along the way. Thankfully I have a good network of friends that can point them out! But I honestly believe that there is just as much knowledge is seeing it done the wrong way, as there is doing it the right way! #remodel #construction #homerenovation #realestate #design #entrepreneur #interiordesign #hardwork #woodworking #renovation #homedecor #tools #DIY #carpentry #work #asmr #designer #homemade #engineering #engineering

Finish grade ply won’t move on you. Especially if it’s in a climate controlled environment. But still not bad practice

it's a bit small... go with it since it's already made. if it does expand later then rebuild it. you know how now👍

They also make little squishy beads you can drop in the mortise to keep the paneling from rattling without having to pin nail it.

They make “space balls “ for this. Small rubber balls, dropped into grooves. Keeps panel rattling

only solid wood panels need movement, plywood, mdf, osb do move so you dont need room and you can glue it.

When I owned a cabinet shop I use to glue my stiles & rails. I had a door clamp where I nail them as well.

More for solid. Apply small amount of glue to top and bottom of rails in the centre

So… yes, but… for drawer fronts, glue tf out of them. Any panel that small. Glue it solid.
