@damiankeyes: Musicians: Here are 10 predictions for the music industry in 2024 ⬇️ It's 2024, and already I have people asking me: Damo, how are socials going to change this year? Or, what should I be doing differently as an artist? 🤔 So I spent the last few days researching, and compiling a bunch of data from the previous year so that I could make this video about my predictions for 2024. So here are some things to help you get ahead of the game. 👇 ✅ It's going to get a lot noisier: It is predicted that 100k tracks PER DAY get uploaded to Spotify, and that is expected to double in the next year. So you need to figure out how to cut through the noise. ✅ Spotify is going to struggle: We already know that Spotify is trying to pull back on its spending by making budget cuts and lay-offs, but will it have to go a step further by reducing artist revenue even more, or hiking up subscription prices again? Maybe, so watch this space. ✅ Content creation is going to change: In 2024, the focus will be on more narrative-driven content with a higher production value. Now, you'll need a REASON to get the content out there. Each video will need to have good colour grading, lighting, framing, location, and meaning behind it. AND MORE! So give this video a watch, and let's get ahead of the 2024 trends! 💪 #music #musictok #release #musicrelease #fyp #2024 #2024music #newyear #newmusic #musiciansoftiktok #musician #musicproducer #musicianhacks #musiciantips #socialmedia #contentcreator #socialmediatips #singer #musicmarketing
