they told you it's too slow since the blade takes to long to turn back on, and the speed of the fights are too fast

Also if you turn it off that means the enemy's swing is still going towards you and it will 100% hit you. Why no one ever realizes this ?

If a Jedi was well trained enough I’m sure they could attack while the others sabre is off. They’re pretty much weightless.

The reason it’s not used because in real sword fight (not a dance) enemy is also trying to cut you. You’d end up killing each other , not very useful
