To the Sith, it show you had a weakness, and strength was paramount. It made you a target

Using the force to turn off the lightsaber of your enemy is even better

aren't they moving at superhuman speeds so turning it off would just mean you're wide open before it comes back on again?🤔 that makes much more sense than the honor code😂

they told you it's too slow since the blade takes to long to turn back on, and the speed of the fights are too fast

Also if you turn it off that means the enemy's swing is still going towards you and it will 100% hit you. Why no one ever realizes this ?

If a Jedi was well trained enough I’m sure they could attack while the others sabre is off. They’re pretty much weightless.

Obi Wan has doing this in Clone Wars in a fight between him, Maul and his Brother on the Pirate Planet.

the problem with this was the force sensitive people had a small amount of foresight and retracting blade basically invited a srtike aganst you

Wouldn’t it also leave yourself completely open? You opponent’s blade is not being intercepted. Result would be two free lightsabers for any passer by

The reason it’s not used because in real sword fight (not a dance) enemy is also trying to cut you. You’d end up killing each other , not very useful

kiedy walczysz z doświadczonym przeciwnikiem to nie ma sensu , jakby po prostu oponent bez problemu może się wycofać albo odciąć nam rękę , plus miecz

Depends which era of Sith we’re talking. Post-Bane it makes sense for Sith to use it, but if we’re talking ancient Sith then they would definitely not

No, the whole reason none of these moves that should work wouldn't work is because the whole concept is that the force tells what the opponent will do
