@pokeypotpie: 💗Officially introducing Grey. 💗 . Grey has been here for a couple months now, after flying in from Kuwait. This vidoe is from a couple weeks after he arrived. . Grey has a polyp in his ear, which has caused numerous infections and a significant head tilt. His rescuer had been caring for him as part of a colony for 5 years, but took him inside in April when he showed up appearing hurt and disoriented. . Since that time, his rescuer went to incredible efforts to figure out how to help him, running multiple CT scans and going to countless vet appointments and applying dozens of medications. He finally reached a point of stability and we all decided that his best chance at a future home would be here in the U.S. . Unfortunately, Grey was incredibly stressed by this major change, which led him to revert to his survival instincts, which include not trusting people. . When Grey was in Kuwait, he was very loving and affectionate with his rescuer, but he didn’t interact with many other humans, so that also contributed to his current Stranger Danger mode. . Poor Grey has been through so much, has had so many major changes, and had lost his favorite and only trusted person in the world.😭 . In his first few weeks here, Grey wasnt eating enough and I couldn’t get close enough to touch or medicate him, so I used a pole to get some transdermal medication on his ear. . I then used the pole to give him churu amd chin scritches, both of which he enjoyed. .
