Not a South thing. Areas of countryside in general are nicer in most countries. Ppl in the village in Nigeria are the most hospitable I’ve met.

In Nigerian- grew up in. Nigeria and I’ll tell you it’s a Lagos thing. Outside of Lagos girls are actually much friendlier.
