Ube: if you’ve never had ube before, have you even lived? What set this donut apart for me was the fluffy whipped cream filling that did not feel heavy whatsoever. Other times, I’ve eaten stuffed donuts and gotten half way through and thought “how am I gonna finish this?”, greasy dough and heavy custard weighing on my stomach. In this case I could’ve had three in a row Original: the quintessential original glazed donut that tastes like a warm airy bite with a slight crispy coating. Need I say more? Chocolate: only reason I gave a 9.5 is because I would’ve preferred a dark chocolate to balance out the sugar in the glaze but it was still fantastic.
