I did this to my own car, put 2x4 in the jam and strap around the driver and passenger windows and pulled….didnt fix it

The door frames are incredible strong. The seals are incredibly flexible. This will not bend or distort anything. They are meant to absorb in the event of collision.

Yeah, I’ve had three different body experts try to fix my door after lockout. You can’t see it visually but it still leaks.
