Social media will make things seem back and white when in reality most healing happens in the gray. ⁣ ⁣ 1. If you have been underrating for years - you aren’t in a place to lose body fat. You probably need to feed up the system to be able to lose in the future. ⁣ ⁣ 2. Constantly overriding your bodies systems to do more work is keeping you in a cycle of neglecting your basic needs, running on fumes and will eventually lead to major burnout. I see it in highly ambitious women all the time. ⁣ ⁣ 3. Sometimes improving your health means doing less. Other times it means does a lot more than what you think you are doing. ⁣ ⁣ 4. Red lights, cold plunges, grounding mats, etc are all wonderful tools. However the sun, touching earth, being in lakes/oceans, surrounded by green matter has a mechanism of healing when all in its natural state. The sun for example is combined of many different types of light that keep each other in balance and do different things to our body. When we isolate and reduce natural elements it isn’t always beneficial. ⁣ ⁣ 5. Healing ANYTHING (gut, hormones, injuries, metabolism) all take much longer than a few weeks or even months. You got to this place from a cascade of events over time. Healing is like working backwards one step at a time. It can take years to fully get to a place you want to be. ⁣ ⁣ 6. Your phone screen time is slowly deteriorating your brain. I strongly believe most of peoples anxieties come from comparison, seeing highlight reels, flipping from happy content to sad content without knowing its coming & constant access to notifications from people. ⁣ ⁣ 7. When it comes to healing - it usually is a combination of efforts over an extended period of time. Not just one medication or one supplement or one diet. ⁣ ⁣ Do you feel aligned with my beliefs?? Good, I knew you would! Now follow so you see more content on this side of the fence :) ⁣
