One of the main problems I see people having with their dogs is lack of clarity. It’s not that our dog is misbehaving or rebelling, it’s that we haven’t made it clear to them what we want. Many people have 1 universal recall command for their dog. Working through a door = come, stop barking at fence = come, Follow = come , let me pat you = come, get in the car = come, releasing dog from command = come. If you use your recall word in this way, it is going to be extremely difficult for your dog to work out want you want when you want it. So rather than this confusion, have separate words that define specific types of recalls. Here a 5 that I use with my dog.
