The case back of this Tear Drop Vacheron Constantin features the royal crest of Alexander the first - King of Yugoslavia in the 1930s. It is very unlikely that the watch belonged directly to the king and cannot be proven. We are of the opinion that the watch was most likely a gift from King Alexander to his own family or a dignitary, either an ambassador or a visiting politician, and not the watch to himself.
