The videos I share are clips of mostly really good finds, but NOT every beach trip comes with good shelling! 🐚 . There is absolutely NO guarantee of what the ocean will gift. Some days, you can do all of the right things like go at the right time of day, or at the best tide, or search hard, high and low, look in the water, etc.... and you may still not find shells! 😳 . It happens! Probably more so than one would think, but it's true. You cannot have expectations when it comes to beach combing. 💯 . Tides change, winds and currents change. There's a particular beach in the Ten Thousand islands that is usually loaded with seashells, but one day I went, it was completely bare. It was pretty odd in fact for that beach, but it can happen, and sometimes with no explanation! 🙃 . Moral of the story is, don't set expectations and if you don't find shells your first trip, try again! 🐚 . What are your thoughts on this topic?
