As a Massage Therapist, I found that a hot paraffin dip works even better than this. I use to do the gloves with the same lotion, it works for sure. I just feel the paraffin wax was a step up from it.

cerave sucks! get Skinfix hand cream and if you're skin is horribly cracked apply a thin layer of Dukes Bloody Knuckles balm!!! I swear by this!

AVENE XERACALM A. D. really helped me! I still get inflammation sometimes, but my skin hasn't cracked like it did before for a month or two!

For me what works best is a good emollient such as oilatum or cetraben, and a layer of epaderm ointment to ‘seal’ moisture in.
