We can learn a lot from constructive feedback and be crushed by inconsiderate feedback. Be careful how much you absorb from the latter 🙂

This is exactly what happened to me after I returned from leave. They had nothing but negative feedback for me on my first day back. I asked "anything positive whilst I was away" they said "no" 😳

The manager needs to figure out better delivery. Employee is right to be defensive if there are no examples given and it's just a list of issues.
