@boochaces: All medical emergencies are scary but this one had my heart racing once I realized it was a choke episode. Moose has wry nose, which complicates anything involving a nasogastric tube. Thankfully, Doctor Crigler is a damn expert when it comes to chokes and she really made this whole process a success for our special dude. We aren’t sure how the choke initially happened, as we are already very careful when it comes to feeding Moose due to his congenital issue (observe, soak feed, etc.) and this has never happened prior to today. Could the storm last night have played a part? Maybe?
