The sad reality is that we all recognise that Allah created us, he made us, he gave us everything, and yet we drag our feet to the prayer. Heck, some of us make the excuse that we don’t have enough time. The reality is that, it’s not that we don’t have time, we just aren’t committed and we don’t truly believe that we will meet Allah one day. Islam for us is an afterthought and isn’t a priority. In the pursuit for success, you will often find your own family talk rubbish about you when you’re breaking all the generational curses, whether that’s in pursuit of worldly goals, spiritual goals or any type of wholesome ambition to at you put your mind to. Your job is to ignore them, march on and use their doubt as fuel. But always remember, remain courteous, well mannered and don’t speak bad about them.
