Laundry pods can cause that issue. Sometimes they don't completely dissolve and you may need to rewash clothes.

Does your machine have a clean washer cycle? I usually just use Affresh in it once a month and run a cycle per washer instructions.

mine only does this when using a detergent pod on cold. I use liquid when doing cold loads then the pods on warm so it actually dissolves. (my fiance only uses the pods doesnt change the temps)

Do you use powder? Powder detergent can do this in HE washers

I stopped using scent beads because they did this to my work pants. But only those because of the material.

Unscrew the bottom piece and take the agitator out and you will see so much stuff under it

I have the same washer and have never had an issue. Small amounts of detergent, no softener. I use vinegar as softener

You're just adding more products, which will add more buildup. Run plain hot water a few times and it will clean itself

We had this happen too- but cleaning the inside doesn’t fix the problem- you literally have to take the whole washer apart and clean it. Ours was foul

soda and vinegar work against each other when it comes to actually washing things because they neutralize each other

I have the same issue and I use vinegar and a cleaner soap and just a very little bit. I did some research and it could be a filter on the back that’s
