This happens to me ALL THE TIME. So I decided to put a 10 day pickup window in my policy. After that I add daily storage fees.

I would add to your invoice that items must be picked up in x amount of days or any monies paid are forfeit and you retain possession of the item

You MUST state “items not picked up in 30 days will be forfeited back to …” And also make sure you have it written “No Refunds for items not picked up

You need to post a statement that if items aren’t picked up within 30 days, you will forfeit your payment and the items will be reposted for sale.
