I had unlimited PTO and my boss told me I couldn’t take any more time for the year since I took 4 days for my wedding and 2 weeks for my honeymoon LOL

This hits so close to home! I worked for a company w/unlimited PTO & I asked for a month off. After many back & forths w/management, it was approved but they added limitations to the policy after 🤣

I get his point but I think the confusion is that PTP stands for unlimited “paid” time off not unlimited time off. There is actually a difference

The unlimited time off catch is there is no bank so if you go on FMLA or leave the company, you usually get nothing.
