My daughter is an above knee amputee. She is terrified of falling. Will not walk very far with it unlocked. Really hoping she gets over that fear.

This is so helpful. I became a RBKA in April 2023 and I had a lot of complications and soon will be getting my prosthetic hopefully 🤞

I’ve been through a lot of prosthetics and they’re all different. I’m hoping this next one gives me better balance. It’s gonna go above the knee even though I’m a blow the knee amputee

If you ever need a revision check out the Ertle method they do a bone graft between your tibia and your Fibia so that they’re together and stronger. It also makes it more comfortable to wear a socket.
