@beth_and_coop: Sometimes we do implants-on storytime, and other times we do this. This version will always have my heart. It’s funny because I grew up with a mom who read to us so often and I truly credit that for my love of reading. When I was pregnant, I bought so many kids books and envisioned reading them to our child like my mom had done. When we learned Cooper was deaf, reading with him was one of the first things I thought of. I didn’t know what that would look like in the future. And for the longest time, he didn’t really have any interest in books. But now that he’s in school he’s starting to and I love that we get to experience this together. 📚
