Rathaus em alemão 🇩🇪🐀… É mais uma casa dos conselhos ou dos ratos?👇 #brasil #alemanha #alemao #Rathaus #rato
JingJing had imagined her honeymoon very differently. There had been beaches involved…sunshine…cocktails with ridiculous fruit stuck to the side of the glass…and a hotel room with a huge bed, a balcony overlooking the sea and absolutely no reason to leave it unless food was involved. Instead, twelve hours into the trip, she was sitting on a folding chair inside an evacuation centre wearing someone else's oversized t-shirt while rain hammered against the roof. Her luggage was missing. Their hotel was flooded. The airport had shut down. And a hurricane was currently tearing through the island. JingJing slowly turned towards her wife. Jan was sitting opposite her with a paper cup of instant coffee and the guilty expression of someone who knew she was about to be blamed for every single thing happening outside. “You booked this.” Jan took a careful sip. “Technically, yes.” “You chose this island.” “Also, technically true.” “You researched the hotel.” “Extensively.” “If I remember rightly, you even made a spreadsheet.” Jan winced. “I did.” JingJing stared at her. “And at no point during your extensive research did you notice that it was hurricane season.” Jan lowered the cup. “In my defence…” “No.” “I feel like I should be allowed a defence.” “You’re not.” Jan nodded. “Fair.” JingJing looked around the evacuation centre. Hundreds of people were spread across the large hall. Families sat on camping beds and blankets. Volunteers moved between them handing out bottled water, snacks and spare clothing. Children were crying somewhere near the entrance while an exhausted-looking man attempted to entertain them with a deck of cards. A television mounted on the wall showed weather reports with large red warning zones covering most of the island. JingJing looked back at Jan. “This is our honeymoon.” “I know.” “We got married three days ago.” “I remember.” “I wore a wedding dress.” Jan put her cup down and reached over to grab Jings hand. “You looked beautiful.” “Do not try to distract me.” Jing pulled away. Jan pressed her lips together as to not smile at her pouting wife. JingJing folded her arms. Their honeymoon had actually started well. For approximately five hours. Their flight had arrived on time. The weather had been warm when they landed, although slightly windier than expected. Their hotel had sent a car to collect them, and Jan had spent the entire journey looking smug because everything she'd organised had gone perfectly. Then they reached the hotel. The woman at reception had smiled politely before asking whether they had received the emergency weather notification. “What emergency weather notification?” Jan smiled back nervously as JingJing slowly turned towards her. By lunchtime, they were being told to prepare for evacuation. By two, the rain had started. By three, part of the ground floor of the hotel had flooded. Their luggage had disappeared somewhere during the rushed transfer from the hotel to the evacuation centre. JingJing's carefully packed honeymoon outfits were currently either floating through a hotel lobby or sitting in the back of the wrong emergency vehicle. Nobody seemed to know which. Jan had offered to go looking for them and JingJing had informed her that if she disappeared into a hurricane searching for a suitcase, there would be a divorce before they'd even reached their first week of marriage. Jan had stayed. Smart woman. CONTINUATION IN COMMENTS ⬇️ #janhaejingjing #janhae #jingjing #ThaiGL #wlw
