when I went to New Orleans on vacation my food list was gumbo, jambalaya, pralines, beignets & po' boys. I found so much more. but I got through the list in the first 3 days.

Away from home for the first time at college and the cafeteria says they are serving jambalaya. I never cried so hard in my life. It was wet and red.

I grew up with seafood only in both jambalaya and gumbo. My grandmother was Italian so tomato’s were in everything. So I prefer it that way.
