Yea I agree with everyone, I wouldn’t do this. I’ve had 3 different hiring managers wanting to contact my boss to delay hire date of a new job. I would never provide info to identify my new employer.

i went through this. both companies moved faster, didn't need to send the offer letter. used it for negotiating the best salary.
