And here is what helped me to get from A2.1 with no speaking to fluent B2 in 2014: 1️⃣ The method of active listening (JUST THE BEST THING EVER!): Listen to podcasts (see my reel on best Podcasts in German in feed) AND NOTE THE VOCABULARY from the Audio/Video. Use this vocabulary in your next conversations. And build your own sentences with this vocabulary. 2️⃣ Get NEW information REGULARLY Never stop learning something new about the language. Don´t let your brain chill out when you need to speak German. The best way to learn on a regular basis is a level course (e.g. A2.1, A2.2, B1.1 etc.) 3️⃣ Always learn with a specific STRUCTURE. Structure is the synonym of success in everything including German. You can find all the topics for free on YouTube, but what really makes the difference is the STRUCTURE. 4️⃣ Do a level course. Especially when you don’t have fluent B1 yet. It is extremely important to learn all the aspects of the language with structure. And it is very dangerous to learn in a wrong way without knowing that it is WRONG.
