@erwan: Healthy food doesn't always have to be over the top and extremely delicious. When eating healthy, sometimes simple is best. We have a lot of Filipino dishes that are good, have tons of vegetables and are affordable. We just tend to talk more about the sisigs of the world. These are my take on a few of them. Sinabawang Talbos ng Kamote, Sarciadong Galunggong, Ginataang Kalabasa at Bangus, and Lumpiang Hubad. Each meal costs less than 100 PHP or $2 USD (probably way less per portion) to cook and makes good use of fresh and nutrient-rich ingredients that will give you a healthy start for the year ahead.
